In Morocco’s Draa-Tafilalet region, apple farming plays an essential role in the local economy. However, this area remains geographically isolated, making it difficult for producers to connect with high-value markets and realize the full potential of their harvests. These producers have low levels of technological sophistication and institutional support, making it difficult for them to compete in larger markets.
